Ordering
When submitting an order to Rachel Lucie Jewellery Designs, you (the customer) are entering into a contract with us (the supplier) to supply you with handmade jewellery items as described in the product details. This contact will become binding upon our acceptance via email of your order.
In the rare circumstance of the product you ordered not being available, we will contact you immediately to discuss the appropriate action (i.e. full refund or a substitute product incurring a part refund or extra payment as required)
All jewellery on this website has been handmade by Rachel Lucie. Many items are made to order, and unless otherwise stated at the time of ordering, your order will be shipped within 2-5 working days.
For bespoke orders, you will be given an estimated dispatch time when the design details are finalized. Some semi-precious stone beads may be sourced from other countries, and this will affect the completion date.
Please contact us if your order is urgent.
Delivery Charges
UK orders over £30 qualify for Free Standard Delivery.
Europe, USA, Canada, Australia, NZ orders over £50 qualify for Free Standard Delivery to some countries (see below).

Every care is taken to ensure your jewellery order reaches you safely, and in a timely manner.
Your delivery options are automatically calculated and all your country specific ones will be visible once you have entered your delivery address. This happens during the last stage of the checkout process as a drop down menu, please select as appropriate.
Please ensure your Paypal or Rachel Lucie customer account address details are up to date, or that you provided the correct details at the time of purchase as we use the Paypal or the details you have provided to print your address label. We cannot be held responsible for non-delivery of orders when incorrect address details have been provided by the customer.

Contracts with Rachel Lucie Jewellery Designs are subject to UK Law.
Our products
Sterling silver (or in cases as described in the product details .999 purity silver) jewellery handmade by Rachel Lucie which may feature pre-made components such as chains, charms or clasps.
Some items are now made using rolled gold which is 50 times thicker than normal gold plating and guaranteed for frequent use for many years without wear.
Jewellery is not hallmarked as the silver components are below the weight at which hallmarking is required by UK Law. Individual component items (above) may contain the label '925'.
Other parts of the jewellery will be semi-precious, freshwater pearl, glass or other types of beads. Some items will be oxidized using liver of sulphur, which will be indicated in the product description.
Product Descriptions and Photos
Clear pictures are provided to allow you to see Rachel Lucie's jewellery. However, please be aware that they are taken in close up. Please pay close attention to the measurements provided for a true idea of scale.Photographs taken are often the actual item you will receive, or what we deem to be a clear representation of the product if more than one has been made. Due to the irregularities in gemstones themselves, and the handmade nature of Rachel's work, we reserve the right to sell items with minor differences to the products photographed.
Please be aware that the colours displayed on our website we consider to be close renditions of the actual colours of the stones and pearls used. However they cannot be guaranteed 100% accurate, as this will vary depending on each individual computer's monitor settings.
Packaging
All our jewellery is beautifully packaged, ready to give as a gift. Carefully wrapped in tissue paper and in an organza bag or gift box (made from recycled card) as shown with the product details, it will come complete with a branded tag also.Rachel aims to manage her business with eco-awareness, and recycles outer packaging such as padded envelopes wherever possible. Your jewellery may therefore arrive in a recycled padded envelope. Inside, your jewellery will be beautifully wrapped, as pictured.
VAT and Import Duty
All prices are stated clearly in British Pounds (GBP) at their full price. No VAT is added as Rachel Lucie Jewellery Designs is currently not a VAT registered company.
Rachel Lucie Jewellery Designs is not responsible for any import duties which may be applicable to your country.
